Tratamentos

Contact lenses are used to prevent the development of myopia which in principle continues until adulthood. The lenses are soft and worn every day. In the central area they have the graduation that the patient needs, but in the peripheral areas they contain different graduations that aim to stimulate the periphery of the retina, avoiding the stimuli that lead to the progression of myopia.

Recently authorised for use in European countries and the United States, their use has already become widespread and their effectiveness has clearly been proven in Eastern countries where they began to be used around 10 years ago.
