Contactology – contact lenses
In the area of contactology, we regularly address the following:
- Contact lenses for permanent or daily use
- Contact lenses for correcting astigmatism
- Bifocal contact lenses for far and near vision
- Treatment of myopia in children and young people for stabilisation and/or reduction of graduation – Orthokeratologya
Contact lenses are easy to wear from the age of 7 and are appropriate in many situations inwhich they can be of great benefit.
They may even be the only appropriate way to enable correct vision development, as in the case of anisometropia (marked differences in graduation between the two eyes) or very high graduation, where glasses do not provide good lateral vision, are uncomfortable and limit many day-to-day tasks, particularly physical activities and sports.
